Meet Dr. Chris Holet, DC

Founder, Optimal Health Solution · Gaffney, South Carolina

Dr. Chris Holet is a licensed Doctor of Chiropractic and the founder of Optimal Health Solutions in Gaffney, South Carolina. His practice is built around two things most clinics treat as sidelines: peripheral neuropathy and non-surgical spinal decompression.

He became a chiropractor because he needed one

Dr. Holet did not set out to practise medicine. He spent the early part of his career as a campus minister, and later as a school therapist and administrator — work grounded in sitting with people through difficult stretches of their lives.

That changed after a near-fatal car accident. Recovering from serious injury put him on the receiving end of the healthcare system, and taught him the difference between being managed and being helped. It is the reason the clinic’s whole posture is built around a single idea: being told to live with it is not the same as being out of options.

Education and training

Life Chiropractic College · Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic Chiropractic training. Licensed to practise chiropractic in South Carolina.
Saint Bonaventure University Undergraduate degree in Biology and Business.
Boston College Master’s degree in Pastoral Counseling.
University of Massachusetts Boston Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, graduated Summa Cum Laude.

Beyond his formal degrees, Dr. Holet trained under Dr. Donald Epstein, the founder of Network Spinal analysis — an approach concerned with how the nervous system adapts to stress rather than with the joint in isolation. That grounding is visible in how the clinic approaches nerve damage today: circulation, inflammation and nerve signalling first, symptoms second.

He has also provided care for members of the staff and training team of motivational speaker Tony Robbins.

What he actually treats

Dr. Holet sees patients for nerve and spinal conditions that other clinics often decline or medicate:

Treatment plans are multi-modal rather than built on one machine. Depending on the case they may combine the clinic’s Nerve Recirculation™ Protocol, Back On Trak decompression, Class IV laser therapy, red-light therapy and microcurrent therapy. Every new patient starts with a screening and a report of findings — not a treatment package.

He wrote the book on it

Dr. Holet is the author of Neuropathy Reversal: No Pills, Lotions, or Potions, which sets out the same root-cause approach he uses with patients in Gaffney — why nerves fail, and what has to change for them to recover. Ask about a copy at your consultation.

Outside the treatment room

Dr. Holet has served more than 27 years with the National Ski Patrol as a first responder — emergency care delivered on a mountain, often in poor weather, frequently to people having the worst day of their year. It is an unusual line on a chiropractor’s CV, and a telling one.

What patients say

Optimal Health Solutions holds a 5.0-star rating across 85 Google reviews. The themes repeat: patients who had been told the damage was permanent, who had stopped walking distances or sleeping through the night, describing a measurable change. You can read them in their own words.

New patients start with a $21 screening — consultation, health history, screening evaluation, thermal nerve scan and a report of findings, so you know what is wrong before committing to anything.
